Here at The Blue Heeler Foundation we have a diverse team of Heelers (Australian Cattle Dogs), Australian Shepards and many more breeds of dogs and humans to help us accomplish our goals. We are always expanding our team and making sure we have the most qualified puppers to keep our organization up and running. We have the best team around… paws down. Check out the Team page for more team members.
Founder & CEO
Jay grew up in the Skool of Hardknocks. Having moved around a lot as a pup he understands the value of and need for being loved and part of a community.
He has extensive experience in herding, nipping heels (what he is known for) and running non-stop. His goal is to make sure all puppers and humans have a great home to share with an amazing family.
Chief Liaison for Blue & Red Heeler Affairs
Jay met Sierra, a Blue/Red Heeler mix, while shopping at his local San Diego cooperative grocer. Her worldly travels have brought her all around the country. She now joins our team as the main liaison between all our Blue Heelers, Red Heelers and fellow puppers around the globe.
Chief Good Boi
Onyx, a German Shepard is our East Coast connection. He heads our communication department and makes sure all our gear is up and running. His family has a history serving in the Marine Corps and we are glad to have such a Good Boy and talented communicator on our team.
Gabby & Lacy
Directors of Mischief & Misfits
Gabby, a duck toller, and Lacy join our team all the way from the Midwest. They are no strangers to fun in the sun and in the snow. They help us manage all the mischievous activities that we like to get into. Never leave a Blue Heeler alone!
Director of Treats & Training
Jay met Cheyenne while cruising the boardwalks of the Pacific in LA County. She is an Australian Shepard mix (a close cousin to the Heeler) who loves to hang out and talk with everyone. Jay was astounded at her excellent training and compassion for those around her. Cheyenne will be joining our team as the Director of Treats & Training. We are happy to know that our puppers-in-training will be in the best paws possible.
